The short version
The Almanac is a static website. It doesn't run analytics or advertising trackers, and it doesn't ask you to sign in. The interactive tools (the ritual generator, date idea sprout, love note starter, and check-in) run entirely in your browser — what you type or select is never sent to a server.
What's stored locally
A few features use your browser's local storage to remember small preferences on your device only — for example, an article you marked "save for later," or a newsletter email you entered before the newsletter is connected. You can clear this any time through your browser settings.
Newsletter
The newsletter signup is not yet connected to an email provider, so submitting it does not send your address anywhere — it simply shows a “coming soon” message. When we connect a provider, this page will be updated to describe exactly what is collected and how to unsubscribe.
Analytics
This blog ships with no third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Important links carry lightweight, non-identifying labels so we can add privacy-respecting analytics later; until then, nothing is tracked.
The main app
This blog is separate from the Hanasaku app. For how the app handles your data, see the privacy policy at hanasakuapp.com.
